USE OF CUCURBITINE FOR PREPARING ANTIALLERGIC COMPOSITION FOR COSMETIC OR MEDICINE ESPECIALLY FOR DERMATOLOGY, AND METHOD INCLUDING ADMINISTRATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiallergic composition, or a composition for a cosmetic or a medicine especially for dermatology, capable of inhibiting the formation of histamine which is a related material for pathopoiesis of allergy, and effective as a proliferactic or therapy for the allergy. SOLUTION: The antihistamic or antiallergic agent is characterized in that the agent contains the cucurbitine, or a salt or ester thereof acceptable for the cosmetic, in a shape of an extract of the flesh or the extract of the seed of Cucurbitaceae, purified so as to include at least 0.5 wt.% cucurbitine. The concentration of the antihistamic or antiallergic agent is preferably 0.001-10%.
