PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a condensed water desalting apparatus, capable of mainly subjecting the condensed water desalting apparatus to ammonia type operation while satisfying the Na water control standard value of a steam generator in order not only to reduce the regeneration number of times of an ion exchange resin but also to enable the enhancement of the quality of treated water in the treatment of condensed water of a PWR atomic power plant. SOLUTION: In the method for operating the condensed water desalting apparatus by passing condensed water through the condensed water desalting apparatus equipped with a plurality of desalting columns packed with a mixed ion exchange resin of a cation exchange resin and an anion exchange resin to treat the same, at least one desalting column selected arbitrarily is subjected to H-OH type operation to repeatedly regenerate the ion exchange by an acid and alkali and the other desalting column is subjected to ammonia type operation and both cation and anion exchange resins are directly regenerated by aqueous ammonia with respect to the desalting column subjected to ammonia type operation.
