PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical which contains an insulin resistant ameliorative ingredient and is useful as a prophylactic/therapeutic agent or the like for diabetes. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical is prepared by combining the insulin resistant ameliorative drug with the compound represented by the formula [I] [wherein, R1 means a lower alkyl group or the like which may be substituted with hydroxyl groups, R2 means an H atom or the like, R3 means an H atom or the like and W means the group represented by the following formula [II] (here, R4 is a halogen atom or the like and R5 is a lower alkyl group) which is combined in the 2 or 3 position of indol ring in the formula [II]] or its salt.
