PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily producible split-mounted type fishing rod facilitating the connection and pulling out of a first fishing rod pipe and a second fishing rod pipe, securing a proper engaging state between a female engaging part and a male ferrule part, solving a deficiency of strength at the female engaging part without requiring high processing accuracy. SOLUTION: This split-mounted type fishing rod is equipped with a first fishing rod pipe F having a female engaging part F1 at one end and a second fishing rod pipe M having a male ferrule part M2 to be engaged with the female ferrule part F1 at one end. The female ferrule part F1 is equipped with a tapered part FT having <=0.4/1,000 taper ratio. The male ferrule part M2 is constituted of a first tapered part M2a, a straight part M2b arranged at the tip of the first papered part and a second tapered part M2c arranged at the tip of the straight part. The first tapered part M2a has 2.5/1,000-7/1,000 taper ratio and the second tapered part M2c has 0.5/1,000-3/1,000 taper ratio.
