PROCESS FOR PREPARING FLUORINATED COPOLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing a fluorinated copolymer which is a resinous copolymer of a fluorinated monomer such as hexafluoropropene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and a polyfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether), and which can improve the transparency of a molded article without reducing the mechanical strength thereof when the copolymer is molded. SOLUTION: The fluorinated copolymer is prepared by subjecting a monomer mixture that contains at least one fluorinated monomer to a radical copolymerization reaction in the presence of a phosphite diester in a molar amount of 1/10 times or less based on the monomer mixture.
