PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the outward appearance of both side parts of a roof at molding installing time, to improve an external appearance quality, to simplify a molding process of a panel bending edge part, to improve the working efficiency, and to restrain a cost by preventing vertical directional flapping of a roof molding. SOLUTION: The roof molding 20 is installed in an installing groove 6 formed in a joining part 5 of a bending edge part 2 of a roof panel 1 of a car body and a bending edge part 4 of a side panel 3. The roof molding 20 is brought into close contact with an upper surface 14 of a seal member 8 adhered to a bottom surface of the installing groove 6, and plate-like shape holding core materials 27 and 28 are rectilinearly embedded in the lengthwise direction in the respective insides of a base part 21 and a head part 22. These both shape holding core materials 27 and 28 are embedded in parallel to the joining part 5, and are embedded in the same row above and below a cross section.
