PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can smoothly and quickly perform a series of motions wherein used dirty dishes are set at a dish throw-in port, and then, washed dished which are stacked at a dish take-out port are carried to a sushi-dishing up place or a storage place. SOLUTION: This dishwasher has a carrying means which carries dishes thrown into the throw-in port piece by piece to the take-out port. Then, the dishes are washed on a carrying path from the throw-in port to the take-out port for the dishwasher. In such a dishwasher, the throw-in port and the take-out port are provided in a manner to be adjacent, and the carrying path is constituted in a manner to become a circle shape starting from the throw-in port, going through the take-out port and returning to the throw-in port again.
