PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat-attaching device which can extremely easily attach/detach a toilet seat box to a western toilet. SOLUTION: When the toilet seat box 1 is placed on a steel plate 3, a recess 1a on the lower surface of the toilet seat box 1 is engaged with the steel plate 3. Then, when a plug 16 is inserted in a receptacle, and a switch 17 is turned on, a coil 2c is energized, and steel plates 2 and 3 are attracted to each other by a strong magnetic force, and thus, the toilet seat box 1 is fixed to the western toilet 4. When the switch 17 is turned off, the attracting force between the steel plates 2 and 3 is eliminated, and the toilet seat box 1 can be easily removed from the western toilet.
