PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink absorber for absorbing and holding waste ink by a recovery operation of a recording head in a simple and inexpensive constitution with a small number of parts, and eliminate adverse effects to an environment when an ink absorber is disposed of. SOLUTION: The whole or part of a casing 4 of the apparatus body is formed of a paper or a moulded pulp product. The ink absorber 10 for absorbing and holding the waste ink discharged by the recovery operation of the recording head 1 is formed of the whole or part of the paper or the moulded pulp product which forms the casing 4. |
