PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing machine having a bladderless structure and capable of enhancing the reproducibility of a bead shape and a tire vulcanizing method using the same. SOLUTION: In the tire vulcanizing machine, a center mechanism 6 displacing grasping members 10a, 10b, which press tire beads B, B to the bead rings 3, 4 of a mold, is arranged at the center position of a mold housing a green tire T. The bead rings 3, 4 and the grasping members 10a, 10b are constituted so as to be freely slidable each other along cylindrical slide surfaces Y1-Y4 extending in the axial direction of a tire, and the push-in quantities of the grasping members 10a, 10b to the bead rings 3, 4 are made freely alterable corresponding to the volume of a tire bead B. The green tire T is inserted in the mold, a taper surface S1 is molded on the heel side of the tire bead part B, and a cylindrical surface S2 is molded on the tow side thereof to vulcanize the green tire T. |
