PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for such an ink jet head as one pixel is formed by ejecting ink liquid drops a plurality of times in which ejection of excess ink liquid drops caused by repetitive driving can be prevented easily. SOLUTION: The drive controller 1 for an ink jet head 100 applies an auxiliary pulse following to a plurality of times of ink liquid ejection. Ejection of excess ink liquid drops can thereby be prevented surely and easily through a simple structure and ejection of ink liquid drop can be stabilized.
