PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of trouble such as bolt breaking in a cargo handling carrying vehicle used when embracing and carrying an open container loaded with a coil. SOLUTION: This cargo handling carrying vehicle is composed of a car body 2, wheels 3, a lift 4, a covering body 5 and a shock absorbing connecting device 6. The shock absorbing connecting device 6 for connecting the car body 2 and the covering body 5 so as to be capable of absorbing a shock, is particularly arranged between the car body 2 and the covering body 5.
