PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a discharge of balls to be dispensed in a proper form reflecting the ball dispensing operation by simplifying the control at a discharge control means in a game machine in which a discharge mechanism for discharging game balls as prize balls or balls to be dispensed is controlled by a discharge control means. SOLUTION: In the discharge of prize balls, the demanded number of prize balls to be discharged from a game controller 100 are cumulatively stored into a storage counter and a discharge unit 600 is made to perform discharging operation corresponding to a value of a discharge counter set based on the residual number of the storage counter. The number of balls discharged detected by a prize ball detection sensor 713 is directly subtracted from the storage counter while when a dispensing ball discharge command is given, the unit number of balls to be dispensed from a card unit 500 is set on a discharge counter being given preference to the residual number of the storage counter. At the same time, the number of discharged balls detected by a dispensed ball detection sensor 714 is subtracted from the discharge counter and while the residual number is left in the discharge counter, balls left are discharged corresponding to the residual number.
