PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device of a square article to be packaged which can thoroughly save resources. SOLUTION: This packaging device of the square article comprises an upper fixing member 2 abutted on an upper portion of the square article 1 and a lower fixing member 12 with the article 1 placed thereon, an upper reinforcing rib 5 is formed projecting to the square article on the upper fixing member, an upper corner engagement part 7 to be engaged with top corner portions 6 of the square article is formed so that an upper space and an upper side space are formed between the upper fixing member and the square article, a lower reinforcing rib 15 is formed projecting to the square article on the lower fixing member 12, a bottom corner engagement part 17 to be engaged with bottom corner portions of the square article is formed so that a lower space and a lower side space are formed between the lower fixing member and the square article, and the square article is held by the upper and lower fixing members from the top and the bottom and bound by a binding band.
