PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably peel a label from a mount. SOLUTION: The label peeling apparatus 1 includes a mount carry means for carrying the mount 32 with a label 33 stuck to a surface, a base 4 serving as a transfer path of the mount 32 with the label 33 which is being carried, a guide 15 for passing the mount 32 through a gap formed between it and the base 4 to prevent the mount 32 from flexing and also to serve as a guide, a push-up means placed between a peeling position where the label 33 is peeled from the mount 32 and the guide 15 for pushing the mount 32 which has passed through the gap in a direction away from the base 4, and a label peeling portion for bending the mount 32 in a reverse direction to a side where the label 33 is to be stuck.
