PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the molding failure in a carrier tape molding machine. SOLUTION: The carrier tape molding machine is equipped with a tape guide 1, a heat-softening tape 2 fed from one end of the tape guide 1 to the other end thereof by the tape guide 1, molds 5, 6 provided on the other end side of the tape guide 1 so as to provide a gap 5 between molds in the feed direction of the tape 2 and upper and lower heaters 3, 4 holding the tape 2 from above and below at the opening part 17 provided on the other end side of the tape guide 1. The upper heater 3 is allowed to rise in an obliquely upward direction being the direction separated from the molds 6, 7 when the tape 2 rises after heating and the lower heater 4 is allowed to fall in an obliquely downward direction being the direction separated from the molds 6, 7 when the tape 2 falls after heating.
