PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of monitoring a change state of a detected value of a specific detector of a plurality of detectors provided in an injection molding machine body in a long span of a month unit. SOLUTION: The apparatus for preventively maintaining the injection molding machine comprises a cushion position detector for changing a detected value due to an aging change of a screw head or a heating cylinder needing an alteration of molding conditions or a replacement of a component owing to its wear. A controller 12 samples the detected value of the detector in a period set by a keyboard 13, stores the value in a memory 15, and displays the sampled detected value on a display 14 so as to understand the change state in a span of one month or more.
