DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CUTTING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent folding of the tip in winding by eliminating a loss of a film by forming the cut end of a lateral line without generating a serrate shape or a chevron shape on the cut end even if a cutting edge has the serrate shape or the chevron shape. SOLUTION: The cutting edge part 2 of a cutting blade 1 is stuck down in a film F at required angles to cut the film by using the cutting blade 1 composed of a chevron-shaped cutting edge part 2 and a plate part 2' contiguous with a base part 2 of the cutting edge part 2 and in which the chevron-shaped cutting edge part 2 is bent and projected forward at an obtuse angle in relation to the plate part 2' and can be stuck in relation to a traveling film F at required angles.
