PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deposition of scale in the concentration chamber of an electric deionizer without spoiling the original characteristics of the electric deionizer, thereby stably preparing pure water over a long period. SOLUTION: In the concentrated water circulation line 2 of a first electric deionizer 1 for preparing pure water, a second electric deionizer 3A, 3B for the treatment of circulating concentrated water is installed.
