PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a roller capable of simply automating a step of manufacturing the roller and particularly a step of mounting a mandrel holding member in a cylindrical mold, obtaining the roller of an excellent dimensional accuracy and a high quality in a short production cycle, and facilitating a maintenance work as well. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the roller comprises the cylindrical mold 2 in which a mandrel 5 is internally inserted, and a pair of mandrel holding members 3, 4 detachably engaged with both axial ends 21 and 22 of the mold to hold both the ends 5a and 5b of the mandrel 5. The apparatus also comprises a base mold 6 having a heating mechanism 60 for heat curing a resin material to be introduced into a roller molding space and openably and closably arranged on a periphery of a mold 10 for injection molding to be formed with a roller molding space 10s therein, and a pressurizing mechanism 7 for pressurizing and maintaining an engaged state of the member 3 at a load larger than an internal pressure of the mold generated in the case of introducing the resin material into the space 10s or heat curing the introduced resin material and provided at one or both the holding members 3. |
