PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in that a slip in the tightening is generated by the inertia of a capper itself or a content adhered to a mouth of a container, a screw is often broken even under the applied torque below the preset value, and it takes time to tighten a cap since the tightening position is controlled only by the torque, and the tightening position is diversified. SOLUTION: In this capping method having a tightening position sensor, the tightening height of the cap 10 is detected by a cap screwing height sensor 25, and the tightening angle position of the cap 10 is detected by a tightening angle sensor 20 to stop the rotation of a capper motor shaft 6.
