The invention concerns a method for manoeuvring a mobile base (1) in a swimming pool (3) comprising a projecting element (2), in particular a monitoring system located on a side wall (3a) of the pool (3). The mobile base (1) comprises a floor (1a) driven along a substantially vertical direction (3b). The method comprises the step which consists in relatively retracting the mobile base (1) relative to the projecting element (2), or conversely. Thus, the space between the mobile base and the side wall of the pool is maintained within a critical threshold which, if it is not observed, could constitute a source of accidents for swimmers who would be liable to slip their foot in the space. |
