Essence A formulation comprises nimesulide carboxyvinylpolymer neutralized by weak base aqueous solution or a polyacrylamide-isoparaffin and a solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol, isopropanol and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, water and other pharmaceutically acceptable additives; the total contents of water in the formulation makes 45-95 mass %. In order to obtain the mentioned formulation a dispersed phase containing a gel forming agent is prepared and a spirit solvent, nimesulide dispersion and pharmaceutically acceptable additives are gradually added.
