An image-recording apparatus. In a housing of the apparatus are a casing section 14 that encases a light and heat sensitive recording material 12, an optical recording section 16 that exposes the light and heat sensitive recording material 12 fed from the casing section 14 to record a latent image, a thermal developing section 18 that develops the latent image by heating, an optical fixing section 20 that fixes the developed image by irradiating it with light, and an outlet 22 through which the image-recorded material 12 is taken out.
