PURPOSE: An advertising system and method using a multimedia broadcasting on a communication network is provided to combine an Internet broadcasting and an Internet advertisement, provide a pertinent advertisement corresponding to speeches which are selected by a user, and realize the user's direct advertisement desire. CONSTITUTION: A database(31) stores an advertisement data which is hyper-linked in a multimedia data, a scenario speech data and a partial speech portion of the scenario speech data. A database server(30) includes the database(31). A VOD server(40) continuously transmits the multimedia data stored in the database(31). A web server(50) drives the VOD sever(40) and the data base server(30). An encoding server(20) provides the multimedia data to the VOD server(40) or the data base server(30). A studio(10) provides the multimedia data through the encoding sever(20) to the data base(31). Meantime, the multimedia data provided from the studio(10) is a filmed broadcast or a live broadcasting including image and sound, and signifies original data before the multimedia data.
