PURPOSE: An apparatus for inputting and outputting voice data using an FM transmitter are provided to receive voice data in an FM radio receiver, a car stereo, and an audio system by using radio frequency communication. CONSTITUTION: A signal detector(21) supplies electric power to an FM transmission portion(2) by driving a power control portion(26) when a voice signal is received from a stereo jack(15) connected with an MP3 player(10), a walkman(11), and a CD player(12) and an earphone jack(16) connected with a headphone(13). A stereo modulator(22) provides an FM-modulated voice signal by modulating the voice signal. A signal oscillator(23) provides the voice signal converted to an FM radio signal according to a frequency control signal. A frequency controller(24) provides the frequency control signal to the signal oscillator(23). A radio frequency amplifier(25) amplifies the voice signal converted to the FM radio signal. An antenna(31) transmits the amplified voice signal to an FM radio receiver(50), a car stereo(51), and a high fidelity audio(52). A voice signal processing portion(28) amplifies a voice signal received from a microphone(32) and transmits the amplified voice signal to the headphone(13) through the earphone jack(16).
