Outside Counsel Management System (OCMS) (10) is a searchable web-based system and method for collecting, tracking and disseminating information about the use of law firms, legal matters and related legal fees on a real time basis. OCMS tracks information about the use of preferred provider firms, discounts, and evaluates the performance of firms at the conclusion of the matter. OCMS further tracks additional information regarding the Significant Investigations and Litigations (SIL) and the Labor & Employment (L & E) matters. OCMS generates (120) a variety of reports including the use of preferred providers by specialty areas, total fees and related matters by business, location and practice area. |
