IRON CORE OF ROTATING-ELECTRIC MACHINE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: An iron core of rotating-electric machine and manufacturing method for the same is provided to easily obtain a uniform curvature of iron core all over an entire circumference of the iron core. CONSTITUTION: An iron core comprises band-shaped laminated magnetic plate strips; a cylindrical core proximal portion(15a); a plurality of teeth portions(15b) protruded in an approximately radial direction from the proximal portion; and slots for accommodating a coil that are arranged between the adjacent teeth portions. The iron core is produced by bending both end portions of a nearly hexahedral stacked body(15), in such a manner that the core proximal portion has a predetermined curvature, forming the entire stacked body into a cylindrical shape by wrapping the stacked body along a cylindrical core member, such that the front ends of the teeth portions protrude from the core proximal portion, and bonding both end portions.
