PURPOSE: An indoor unit for split air conditioner is provided, in which indoor unit is constituted by a plurality of standardized modules with different sizes, to thereby standardize each component constituting the indoor unit and reduce manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: An indoor unit comprises a motor mounted module(20) mounted with a control unit and a motor(3) for driving a cross flow fan(3); a fan mounted modules which is mounted with the cross flow fan, and arranged at a side of the motor mounted module; and a bearing mounted module(40) mounted with a bearing(4) for supporting the cross flow fan mounted to the fan mounted module. The fan mounted module includes a main fan mounted module(30) for accommodating cross flow fan of a minimum capacity, and auxiliary fan mounted modules(310,320) coupled to the main fan mounted module and which are capable of accommodating cross flow fan extended in accordance with the increased capacity. The blower fan is constituted by a disk-shaped main plate(31), and an end(32) fixed to the main plate and which has a plurality of blades, thus allowing the cross flow fan to correspond to the condensing heat exchanger having different length. |
