PURPOSE: A credit card trading system and a method using SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to achieve credit card transactions through SMS. CONSTITUTION: If a credit card short message transmission key is inputted from a key input part(511), a mobile terminal(100) reads a previously stored credit card short message and transmits it to a credit service center(180) through a specific channel(513). The credit service center analyzes the received message(515). Then the credit service center inquires into credit card information, including a credit card ID, a PIN code, etc., contained in the message(517) and checks whether the credit card is available for credit transactions(519). In case that the card is not available for credit transactions, the credit service center transmits a credit card transaction impossible message to a credit card reader(190)(521). The credit card reader displays the message on its LCD(523). However, if the card is available for credit transactions, the credit service center transmits a credit card transaction start message to the credit card reader(525). The credit card reader inputs the PIN code(527) and retransmits it to the credit service center(529). |
