PURPOSE: A purchaser BTO(Build To Order) internet computer is provided to connect easily a preferring internet site of a purchaser with a purchasing computer by setting up an internet site map in a selling process of a computer. CONSTITUTION: A computer detects a supplied power(200). An operating system such as Windows is operated in the computer(202). The computer checks a connection state between a hardware for internet connection and a communication network(204). A modem, a cable modem, an ISDN modem, and an ADSL modem are used as the hardware for internet connection. A web browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer is executed in the computer(206). An initial setup site is connected when the web browser is executed(208). An initial image of the operating system is displayed on a monitor if the hardware for internet connection is not connected with the communication network(226).
