PURPOSE: A process for preparing a wide-width hologram plastic shim is provided to easily and economically produce the hologram plastic shim by forming a plurality of narrow-width hologram plastic shims and winding the shims around a wide-width master roll. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of obtaining a narrow-width PVC or polyester film(30) attached to a photo-cured resin(20) on a base plate(10) to transfer holographic images; overlapping a plurality of the narrow-width films adhered with the photo-cured resin on their bottom side each other at their one sides then cutting the overlapped parts at once; preparing a wide-width PVC or polyester film by setting the cut parts to allow the transferred holographic images to match each other and joining part or all of the films; and again coating another photo-curing resin(20) onto the film(30) and locating another film(30) applied with an adhesive(31) over a top of the film(30) turned inside out after the joining process. The process further comprises compressing and UV-radiating the adhesive applied film to obtain the wide-width hologram plastic shim.
