EXHAUST GAS PURIFIER

PURPOSE: An exhaust gas purifier is provided to discharge exhaust gas separated from dust and noxious material by using a vortex and to cool high-temperature exhaust gas without adopting an additional chemical treatment equipment for dust and noxious material such as NOx contained in the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas purifier consists of: a vortex chamber(10) including a first upper chamber(12) having the upper surface closed and forming a cylindrical shape, and a first lower chamber(14) having a conical shape, mounted under the first upper chamber; an exhaust gas feed pipe(20) mounted in a tangential direction outside the first upper chamber to feed high-temperature exhaust gas in a tangential direction; plural spraying nozzles(30) mounted radially on the inner wall of the first upper chamber with a slope to form a forcible vortex in the vortex chamber by spraying ordinary-temperature compressed air in a feed direction of exhaust gas; a hollow pipe(40) mounted through the center of the upper plate of the first upper chamber; and a discharge unit(50) formed at the first lower chamber to separately discharge dust and exhaust gas cooled by the forcible vortex formed by the compressed air injected from the spraying nozzles. Exhaust gas is purified primarily by a reactor(80) and cooled by the vortex chamber having multi-step. Then, fine solid particles and noxious gas are separated and removed from the exhaust gas. Therefore, the exhaust gas is deodorized and air pollution is prevented.
