PURPOSE: A steel plate pre-welding process before cutting plates is provided to carry out welding first and cutting later for restraining the disagreement between slot holes of the steel plates and T-bars due to the deformation of the steel plates in advance and maintain good alignment of the slot holes for smoothing the insertion of the T-bars, thereby improving the workability. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate pre-welding process before cutting plates includes the steps of sorting required steel plates into A, B, and C groups(30), welding steel plates of the A, B and C group into a sheet of steel plate by automatic pre-welding(32), constructing blasting and primer with respect to the pre-welded steel plate(34), forming slot holes(40) at a lower part of a side of the steel plate by a uniform interval(36), and inserting T-bars(42) into the slot holes of the steel plate to form a floor of a ship.
