CAMERA WITH PULSE DETECTING FUNCTION AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A camera having a function for detecting pulse and a method for operating the same are provided to maintain better photographing conditions by considering the trembling of fingers of a user when taking a photograph. CONSTITUTION: A camera having a pulse detecting function includes a distance measuring part for measuring a distance between the camera and a subject, a photometric part for measuring luminance when photographing, a flash unit for supplementing a light amount if lacked, a pulse detecting part mounted to a handle of the camera for measuring pulse of a user, a control part for computing an iris value, and a shutter speed and a pulse rate according to electric signals output from the above parts, and outputting a warning the trembling of fingers of the user when the iris value, the shutter speed, the pulse rate and the focusing distance respectively exceed each reference value, and a display part for displaying the finger trembling according to an output signal from the control part, wherein the pulse measuring part includes a touch panel(151) contacted by a hand of the user, a separation spring(153) connected to the touch panel for protecting the pulse measuring part from an external impact, a pulse measurement switch(155) connected to the separation spring to be turned on or off by the pressure of the pulse, and a pulse measuring sensor(157) for outputting an electric signal in response to the turning on/off of the switch.
