发明名称 SOLUBLE POLY(GLYCOLIDE-PARADIOXANE) COPOLYMER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of soluble poly(glycolide-paradioxane) copolymer is provided to obtain high molecular weight copolymer material having low modulus and low stiffness by producing segmented star type copolymer with glycolide, paradioxane and primary multivalent alcohol. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer has segmented star type structure by using multivalent alcohol having three and more hydroxylic groups as an initiator during polymerizing paradioxane and glycolide under a catalyst. The segmented star type structure of the copolymer is caused by reaction difference of multivalent alcohol, glycolide and paradioxane. During polymerizing, poly(p-dioxane) homopolymer and p-dioxane monomer are generated from paradioxane monomer. The mixture reacts to glycolide. The glycolide is injected into the mixture of poly(p-dioxane) homopolymer and p-dioxane monomer to react at a rising temperature until a copolymer is generated. The reaction temperature is about 120-180deg.C and preferably 120-150deg.C. The polymerization is completed for 1-4h within the reaction temperature range. The glycolide ratio to the mixture of poly(p-dioxane) homopolymer and p-dioxane monomer is 3-25wt% and preferably 5-20wt%. The obtained copolymer has low modulus and low stiffness by having the segmented star type structure.
