RADIO FREQUENCY MODULE DEVICE FOR SET TOP BOX

PURPOSE: A radio frequency module device for a set top box is provided to easily access to a cable modem tuner by forming the first cable connector in a chassis having a switching block and an RF modulator block of a set top box. CONSTITUTION: An RF-input connector(RF-in) is connected to an RF-cable. The first signal divider(21-1) divides a received signal from the RF-input connector(RF-in) into two terminals. The first cable connector(CA-out1) connects the first signal divider(21-1) to a cable modem tuner. A high pass filter(21-2) high pass filters the other terminal signal divided by the first signal divider(21-1). The second signal divider(21-4) divides an output signal of the high pass filter(21-2) into two terminals. A tuner connector(int-out) provides one terminal signal divided by the second signal divider(21-4) to a tuner of a radio frequency module device in a set top box. A mixer(21-6) mixes an output signal of the second signal divider(21-4) and a signal of an RF modulator block(22). An RF-output connector(RF-out) outputs an output signal of the mixer(21-6) to a television.
