WATER-DEGRADABLE FIBER SHEET HAVING MULTILAYERED STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: Provided is a water-degradable fiber sheet to eliminate a balance problem between the water-degradability and strength not to be maintained in a clean sheet made of the fiber sheet, flushed and disposed of in a conventional toilet, etc. CONSTITUTION: The fiber sheet with a multilayered structure comprises a surface layer(1c) made of fibrous rayons having a body part with a desired fiber length and microfibers extending form the body part and having equal to and less than 700cc beating degree in an amount of at least 3 mass% in fibers constituting the surface layer. The microfibers extending from the rayons are interlaced and/or hydrogen bonded with at least either of the microfibers and other fibers. The balance between the water degradability and the strength of the fiber sheet is simply accomplished by adding a small amount of the fibrous rayons.
