PURPOSE: Provided is a room temperature-curable coating composition capable of forming a rigid coated film excellent in water resistance and weathering resistance. CONSTITUTION: The room temperature-curable coating composition comprises a urethane-modified vinyl resin(A) produced by reacting a reaction product with an isocyanate group containing compound(c), the reaction product being produced by reacting an epoxy group containing vinyl copolymer(a) with a fatty acid component(b) containing an unsaturated fatty acid. The reaction product is a copolymer of a first polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing an epoxy group and a second polymerizable unsaturated monomer.
