<p>A melting crucible is made from an alloy which has the following composition (in % by weight): 24-32 chromium, 8-11 iron, 0.15-0.25 carbon, 1.8-2.4 aluminium, 0.1-0.2 titanium, 0.05-0.12 yttrium, 0.01-0.1 zirconium, 0.1 maximum manganese, 0.5 maximum silicon, 0.1 maximum copper with the balance being nickel and incidental impurities.</p> |
