PURPOSE: A paddy field working machine is provided to perform the automatic lifting or lowering control of a working device through a hydraulic device, to perform the stable automatic lifting or lowering control at a set lifting rate scarcely causing an over shooting during a working travel, and to rapidly forcibly lift the working device at a sufficient rate on the side of a balk, or the like. CONSTITUTION: The paddy field working machine is characterized by disposing a lifting speed-controlling member for contact-controlling the operation of a control valve(60) to limit the opening degree of the valve on the lifting side between a movable control operation member(84) inter-locked and linked to a ground sensor and a movable member operated together with a lifting or lowering lever(66), allowing the movable control operation member to approach the movable member to operate the contact function of the lifting speed-controlling member, when the lifting or lowering lever is placed at a working position, and separating the movable control operation member from the movable member to cancel the contact function of the lifting speed-controlling member, when the lifting or lowering lever is not placed at the working position.
