PURPOSE: A toothpaste extruder is provided to manufacture with low expenses and to use toothpaste economically by compressing a toothpaste tube tightly from the beginning. CONSTITUTION: A toothpaste extruder comprises the steps of: forming tube-protection space parts(12, 32) and tube-compression guide parts(13, 33) formed horizontally to keep the shape of a cylindrical toothpaste tube, hinge bosses(16, 36) forming hinge holes(16a, 36a) vertically on the center and a pair of an upper cover(10) and a lower cover(30) unified with ribs(16b, 36b) extended from the hinge bosses(16, 36); coupling a hinge screw(7) penetrating through the hinge holes(16a, 36a) with a compression roller(20) fitted between the upper and lower covers(10, 30); interposing a return spring(19) into return grooves(18, 38) formed on the side of ribs(16b, 36b) overlapped with the upper and lower covers(10, 30); boring a ratchet hole(14) and forming a space for a spring(15) on one side for locating the compression roller(20) from the upper cover(10), forming a ratchet hinge pin hole(17) on the inside of the ratchet hole(14) to assemble a compression ratchet(1) to the ratchet hinge pin hole(17); locating a detent ratchet(41) from a ratchet hole(34) bored through the lower cover(30) to interpose a detent cog(43) to contact with the compression roller(20), passing a detent ratchet pin(45) through a detent pin hole(37) and a pin hole(44) of the detent ratchet(41) to protrude a ratchet lever(42) outward, putting the ratchet spring(46) on the upper part, then fitting into the space for a spring(35); and forming a tube guide projection(39) on the inside where the compression roller(20) assembled to the lower cover(30) is located.
