PURPOSE: A transistor type two-phase six-pole DC brushless axial flow fan motor is provided to reduce vibration noise and manufacturing procedures and costs. CONSTITUTION: A fan motor comprises a driving circuit unit including first and second NPN transistors, and a coil section having the first coil part and the second coil part(L1,L2) for forming magnetic field by being excited by the switching operation of first and second NPN transistors, respectively, wherein first and second coil parts of the coil section include first, second and third magnetic forming portions(mf1,mf2,mf3), respectively; a magnetic unit having six-pole magnets(M); and a fan which rotates by the operation of magnetic field formed by first, second and third magnetic field forming portions of the coil section, and the magnet of the magnet unit.
