PURPOSE: A preheating method of a vulcanization mold is provided to prevent a bladder from being damaged in a process of preheating a mold and to enhance productivity of products by shortening the preheating time of the mold. CONSTITUTION: To preheat a vulcanization mold(2) of dome type, a bladder is removed out of the mold and heat is supplied into a dome(1). The upper end of a back well(30), the connecting part of a flange(31) of the bladder connects the flange of the removed bladder simply to prevent heat from being leaked to the connecting part. When the mold is preheated to vulcanize green tires, the bladder is removed from the upper part of the back well. Then, the mold is crossed and heat is supplied into the dome. The heat is delivered to the outside and the inside of the mold to preheat the mold. Herein, the bladder is not existed inside the mold. Thereby, the supplied heat is delivered into the mold easily to shorten the preheating time of the mold. After the mold is preheated completely, the mold is opened and the flange is separated from the upper part of the back well. The bladder is connected and the green tires are vulcanized. Therefore, the bladder is not damaged in a process of preheating the mold, and the preheating time of the mold is shortened.
