PURPOSE: A recording medium with a burglarproof sensor is provided to improve the productivity and reduce a manufacturing cost by inserting directly a tag into a recording medium or a case of the recording medium in a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A tag(2) is formed in a recording medium(1) or a case(2) of the recording medium(1). The tag(2) is formed with a heatproof resin. A compact disc, a floppy disc, a video tape, and a cassette tape are used as the recording medium(1). In the case of the compact disc(11), the tag(2) is inserted directly into a clamping portion(11b) formed at a center portion of an inside of data recording portion(11a) for recording various data. In addition, the tag(2) is adhered and fixed to the clamping portion(11b). In the case of the remaining recording media except for the compact disc, the tag(2) is inserted directly into an inside or an outside of a case in a case molding process since the data recording portion for recording various data is covered by the case. In addition, the tag(2) is adhered to the case after the case molding process is finished.
