PURPOSE: A motion capture and animation device by using a multiple robot is provided to capture group motion by realizing group action in the condition similar to an actual match, and to animate three-dimensional characters precisely and naturally by obtaining group action data. CONSTITUTION: A motion capture and animation system including multiple robots is composed of a micro robot apparatus performing animation by controlling plural micro robots(21); a vision apparatus(110) capturing group motions of micro robots according to situation by a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera(40), and transmitting image to a main computer(100); and the main computer controlling micro robots according to scenarios by an RF(Radio Frequency) module(120), generating actual group motion data of three-dimensional characters from the group motions of micro robots through the vision apparatus, and performing the three-dimensional character animation. The motion capture and animation system obtains group motion data by controlling robots in a micro robot platform(20), and performs three-dimensional character animation precisely and naturally.
