TRANSMITTING METHOD, TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, TRANSMISSION CONTROLLER AND INPUT DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: To easily evade a problem due to unconformity of versions among each devices when transmission is performed by using a network such as an IEEE 1394 system. CONSTITUTION: When data to be obtained in an output device connected with a prescribed network are transmitted from the output device to the network and the data are received by an input device connected with the network, the output device or a controller to control the transmission on the network transmits a first instruction to inquire the version of a function set in the input device, confirms the version set in the input device by return to the first instruction, when the version set in the output device or the controller is lower than the confirmed one in the input device, starts data transmission from the output device after changing the version by transmitting a second instruction to change the version set in the input device to the lower one to the input device.
