HOT RECYCLING TUNDISH FOR SECURING SLAG DISCHARGING PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A hot recycling tundish for securing slag discharging properties is provided which not only improves quality of a slab by improving the structure of an inclination angle of the slag discharging surface and the main cover so as to prevent accumulation of skull and slag, but also increases productivity and recycling frequency of a tundish by shortening a skull removing time. CONSTITUTION: The hot recycling tundish for securing slag discharging properties comprises a slag discharging surface(2) which is formed to have an inclination angle(Φ) of about 27 degrees or so capable of avoiding to the utmost the interference with a long nozzle(6) that is installed by penetrating a main cover(5) closing the upper surface of a tundish(1); and an opening part(A) which is formed so that the upper surface of a slag discharging port(4) is opened by cutting open a part of the main cover(5) that is fixed with spaced apart from the upper end of the slag discharging surface(2) in a certain distance.
