PURPOSE: An online game system and a method for the same are provided to be held online game at any time. CONSTITUTION: A client is connected to a server and a log-in screen is transmitted to the client(100). The client completes the log-in process and an initial screen of a game is transmitted to the client(110). The client clicks a desired game room(120). A preliminary of an online game is started(130). The client gets through the preliminary according to a winning point and a winning average(140,150). The client participates in a final competition if the client gets through the preliminary(160,170). A game tournament is started(180). The clients enter into competition of the tournament(190). A winner is determined in the tournament(200).
