Branch unit for air conditioner

A branching unit of an air conditioner, the branching unit being capable of connecting either an outdoor unit of a multi-type air conditioner or an outdoor unit of a pair-type air conditioner with one or a plurality of indoor units that are freely selected from amongst the indoor units of a multi-type air conditioner or the indoor unit of a pair-type air conditioner. The branching unit 300 is constructed of branching pathways that branch the refrigerant lines between an outdoor liquid line connector port 301 and a plurality of indoor liquid line connector ports 302, and an electric valve 305 for decompressing the pressurized refrigerant that flows therein and a liquid line thermistor 306 for detecting the temperature of the refrigerant that flows therein are provided in each branching pathway.
